Security Canada Central — Toronto, ONT (Oct. 21, 2015) – DW^®, the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, announces the appointment of security industry veteran Norm Hoefler to the position of Managing Director - Canada.
 
In his new role, Mr. Hoefler is responsible for all sales and management activities in Canada. He oversees distributor relationships, business partnerships and DW^®’s manufacturer representatives in that country. Mr. Hoefler joins DW^® with more than 20 years of progressive leadership roles within the security industry.

Most recently, Mr. Hoefler was Country Manager for Bosch Security Systems, where he was instrumental in defining and developing the Canadian channel strategy for the varied security and communications systems business lines. Prior to joining Bosch, Mr. Hoefler held successful sales leadership roles with Philips Canada Ltd., Checkpoint Canada Ltd. and Vysion Systems Inc.
