*NOTE: See technical bulletin “New MEGApix Firmware Options” for more information on the 2 camera hardware options, how to differentiate them, and the latest firmware information. In some cameras, the first upgrade may not upgrade all components of the camera’s module. To make sure the upgrade was complete, check the camera’s firmware in the camera’s web viewer. Go to Setup > System > System Management.

Cameras with 64MB Flash memory should be updated to Firmware version 7.9.

Cameras with 128MB Flash memory should be updated to Firmware version 9.1.

If the Firmware version does not match the information above, upgrade the camera to the latest firmware files a second time.
